The Intel® Extreme Masters (IEM) Chengdu 2024 Counter-Strike 2 tournament came to a thrilling close on April 14, 2024. After their spirited rematch with the powerful MOUZ crew, the FaZe Clan were crowned champions of the three-day event. The victory gained FaZe a second point in the race to Intel® Grand Slam V, and $100,000 of the $250,000 total prize pool, as well as a spot in the IEM Cologne Group Stage this summer. The event marked IEM’s triumphant return to China for the first time since 2019, and saw 330,000 peak viewers online, in addition to a packed Chengdu Performing Arts Center.
The FaZe clan reached the podium after three days of grueling Counter-Strike 2 action.
Intel’s powerful gaming technology was on full display, and Acer Predator showed their latest release, the small form-factor Predator Orion X.
