Several hard-hitting games launch in April and today’s driver has the strength to bear the brunt of them all. Intel Arc graphics are game-ready for Dead Island 2*, Minecraft Legends*, and Boundary*. Free DLC for Total War: Warhammer III just launched today too — Mirror of Madness — and Intel Arc graphics are ready to delve into the fray.

Total War: Warhammer III — Mirror of Madness

Push your PC and your legion of hellions to the limit in Mirror of Madness, a new free DLC added to Total War: Warhammer III. Slay hordes of mere mortals as a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch by casting chaotic spells in The Trials of Fate challenges, each an infamous battle from Warhammer history. Assure your heroic victory by channeling the Winds of Magic into physics-bending attacks which are sure to scatter your foes asunder, then grow your spells’ destructive powers with Forbidden Knowledge. As your depravity grows, so does the impact of army-flinging vortices, explosions, and buffs. Your iniquity will be rewarded with new upgrades and body parts for Daemon Lords, usable in the main Realm of Chaos mode and the immense trilogy-spanning Immortal Empires campaign.

Thirsty for more blood? The other included mode, The Infinite Portal, entrusts you with complete control over chaos. Freely tinker with unit size, impact force, gravity, and more game-changing features for ultimate power, all detailed in developer Creative Assembly’s Mirror of Madness FAQ. This experience co-developed with Intel invites you to wreck the morale of your enemies as they’re lobbed skyward. As you laugh with manic delight at the ragdoll, vortex, and cloth physic, The Infinite Portal will make full use of your PC’s CPU and GPU potential.

Intel Arc GPUs fear no chaos and are mighty enough to handle the battles of epic proportions in Mirror of Madness. The Intel Arc A750 is 10% faster than the RTX 3060 in Total War: Warhammer III’s Vortex benchmark, making for 72% more performance per dollar.

Mirror of Madness is free to owners of the base game Total War: Warhammer III, available on your favorite digital store alongside this week’s other new DLC, Forge of the Chaos Dwarves.

Game On in Boundary, Dead Island 2, and Minecraft Legends

Even more games out this week are launch-ready with the latest Intel Arc graphics driver. Battle across the void in Boundary, chillax in the zombie-infested paradise of Dead Island 2, and fend off Piglins in Minecraft Legends. With launch day support for all three games, the Intel Arc A750 beats the Nvidia RTX 3060 in price-to-performance.

‘Round and ‘Round

Giving you another round of launch-day support is fun and all, but why stop there? Today’s driver also serves up a round of updates to released games, taking a deeper drink from the well of Intel Arc graphics cards’ hardware capabilities.

Are you afraid of the Arc… er, dark? The 2023 remake of Dead Space* is up to 63% faster than our previous drivers with fixes today for the game’s most demanding scenes. Now hitting 78 FPS on 1080p Ultra, the Intel Arc A750 just edges out the Nvidia RTX 3060 in pure performance, still at a much lower cost: $249.

The Intel Arc A750 is already a capable ray tracing machine but that didn’t stop us from making the most realistic lighting run even faster in popular games. DIRT 5, Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, F1 22, and DEATHLOOP all get a small performance bump with ray tracing on compared to the last driver version.
