Zach Hill

Gaming Evangelist, Intel

Meet our emcee Zach Hill, a lifelong PC gamer and voice actor who joined Intel’s gaming team in 2019. He’s into indie, racing, strategy, space, and role-playing games and loves to share his excitement for games that bring friends together. He’s ready to be blown away by the games built by fellow university students for the Intel University Games Showcase!

Developer Relations Lead, Riot Games

A lifelong gamer, Gene works at Riot Games leading Developer Relations and through his work at Riot and beyond has helped motivated game developers and entrepreneurs follow their dreams. With a focus on making great products, delighting players and investing into the games ecosystem, Gene works to empower the next generation of developers.

Ashley Alicea

Sr. Developer Advocate (Games), Unity Technologies

As a Developer Advocate for Games at Unity, Ashley Alicea spends her days creating technical demos to empower Unity creators with the skills they need to make amazing games. Her past roles at Global Game Jam, IndieCade, and Games For Change have made her a passionate advocate of democratizing game development.

Peter King

SVP Business Development, Green Man Gaming

With over 30 years in the games industry, Peter has held several senior roles with major gaming companies, which include, Activision, Mattel, Broderbund, 1C, Novalogic and Green Man Gaming. Peter has launched titles such as Myst, Call of Duty, Tony Hawks, and Delta Force. Over the last 2 years he has been leading the BD role in Green Man Gaming.

Dean Takahashi

Lead Writer (GamesBeat), VentureBeat

Dean Takahashi has been a tech journalist since 1988, and has covered games as a beat since 1996. He has written for the San Jose Mercury News, the Red Herring, the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and the Dallas Times-Herald. He is the author of two books, “Opening the Xbox” and “The Xbox 360 Uncloaked.” He also organizes the annual GamesBeat and GamesBeat Summit conferences.

Steven Isaacs

Education Program Manager, Epic Games

In Steven’s current role, his mission is to support educators and students in exploring career opportunities that leverage interactive 3D skills. Prior to his role at Epic, Steve was a public school teacher for 28 years, teaching game design and development as well as other courses related to creative uses of technology.

Bobby has over 20+ years of experience rallying global support for next-generation technology solutions within the gaming, graphics, and hardware industry. He is deeply passionate about helping to find and helping the next generation of game developers who will change the gaming world.
