The furry physics fun in Party Animals is almost here. Puppy paws and kitty claws touch down on September 20^th, ready for gummy bear tugs-of-war and hilariously plush combat.

Now ready for a full release, Party Animals gave us a lick of side-splitting and fur-flying antics back in 2020. The devs have been hard at work adding to the roster of 30+ cuddly characters, including Nemo the royal Corgi or Bacon, the mohawked pig. Pit these innocent-looking pals against each other in Last Stand, where you’ll wield weapons like toilet plungers, nunchuks, and comically-oversized lollipops to stand your ground. Or team up — even alligators and bunnies can cooperate here — to run the ball home in Team Score.

If having “party” in the name wasn’t enough to convince you Party Animals is more fun with friends, local multiplayer will. This feature, often omitted from modern games, is one of the best things about Party Animals since you and three more players can all play on the same PC. Square off against each other or the world online; whether you win or lose the snuggly animals and cartoony world will leave you smiling.

Even with aesthetics which are gentle on the eyes, Party Animals is filled with detailed fur, shadows, and bright environments which look splendid on Intel Arc graphics. Payday 3

Got your sights on something grimier and crime-ier than cute critters? Go for the haul in Payday 3 with your gang instead. Built upon more than a decade of safe-smashing and gold-grabbing, Payday 3 brings the charismatic crew to New York City for a new era of heists.

Even in a game full of sticky-handed thieves, the bulletproof Payday formula remains untouched. You’ll need to prepare for each heist if you want to pull it off, especially since every run has its own unique twists. Strategize a stealth entrance or go in guns blazing, but that’s just the tip of the drill. Plunge in further to pull out the biggest paydays with a perfectly tailored build and character — Bonnie and a machine gun were my go-to in Payday 2. Top-notch voice work is back again for the game’s launch characters: classic heisters Dallas, Chains, Wolf, and Hoxton return, joined by newcomer Pearl and Payday 2 pal Joy who has one of the coolest light-up masks.

Visual customization galore sets the Payday series apart. All sorts of intricate masks and detailed weapon modifications are rewards for in-game challenges which range from downright difficult to simply silly. When you want to garb yourself in your ill-gotten gains, Intel Arc graphics showcase your style with speed. Payday 3 runs at 101 FPS at 1080p Ultra settings on the Intel Arc A750†, plenty fast enough to make a clean getaway.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

Failure isn’t an option when you’re rescuing the President. Phantom Liberty is the first major expansion to Cyberpunk 2077, adding a spy-thriller story set in a new area and a slew of updates to the base game too. Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.0 update overhauls vehicular combat: now you can mount weapons to your vehicles, hack enemy cars to accelerate under your digital influence, or just fire freely from the driver’s seat.

If you prefer to turn heads while on foot, founts of fashion give you even more streetwear to don. There’s more character customization than just some fresh threads: the new update adds respec tools to suit a higher level cap too.

The latest Intel Arc graphics drivers have what it takes to carry out espionage in Night City. The Intel Arc A750 runs Phantom Liberty at 76 FPS at 1080p Ultra with ray tracing off, or for even more performance, turn X^eSS on for 95 FPS.†

Lies of P

Are you puppet or are you human? The beautiful fairytale world of Lies of P holds many dark and terrible secrets. A reimagination of Pinocchio, this gritty soulslike game tosses the titular character P into combat against fiendish puppets and monsters. Fend them off with P’s sword and mechanical prosthesis, both of which you’ll need to customize with different attacks and abilities if you want to succeed.

Of course, no retelling of Pinocchio is complete without lies to tell. Throughout the story, beleaguered characters reach out to P for comfort — though telling the truth can be far from comforting. Dialogue dilemmas won’t be easy when the truth hurts.

The elegant city of Krat is modeled after the opulent Belle Époque era of late 1800s Europe. Despite the damage done by twisted menaces to the city, the graphics impress with dramatic lighting, ornate architecture, and dazzling particle effects. The weight of the crumbling world is heavy on P’s shoulders, but it’s a load Intel Arc graphics bear with ease. Lies of P runs at 121 FPS at 1080p Best settings on the A750†. Brutal bosses might punish you, but at least you’ll be able to analyze their moves easily at high framerates.
