Game On Driver for Intel® Arc™ Graphics for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty* and Destiny 2: Lightfall*!

por Intel Gaming |

Los controladores Intel® Game On brindan la mejor experiencia para los jugadores que utilizan los gráficos Intel con parches optimizados para el día del lanzamiento y actualizaciones de desempeño a medida que se lanzan nuevos juegos.

Our latest driver comes with support for two gameplay-rich dark fantasies: Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and Destiny 2: Lightfall. Whether you’re dishing out damage in the Han Dynasty or fighting with your Fireteam in the future, Intel Arc graphics has your back.

Keep reading for more details on Wo Long and take a closer look at some updates for two games released since the last Game On driver, Like a Dragon: Ishin!* and Company of Heroes 3*.

Wo Long: Dinastía caída

The forces of darkness rise tall, and so shall a nameless militia soldier as you awaken their power within. Wo Long — a name for a crouching dragon, or a hero before greatness — pits you against demons in brutal combat. Fueled by chaos, this sinister energy tears apart China’s Later Han Dynasty with only you standing in its way. Master fighting styles using Chinese martial arts with melee weapons, divine beasts, and magic drawing upon the Five Phases. Awaken the power within on March 3rd when Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is available on Steam.

Intel Arc graphics keeps up with every slash, leap, and spell. We tested the A750’s mettle: 79 FPS at 1080p Ultra settings gives you the speed you need to dodge, deflect, and destroy demons. Intel XeSS support is coming soon too for even snappier slaying.

Company of Heroes 3

The acclaimed World War 2 strategy franchise is back with a bang, boasting its most advanced gameplay and graphics yet. Drive out your opponents in two sprawling campaigns, collaborate or conspire with four factions in multiplayer, and dominate the terrain on both sides of the Mediterranean Sea with your tactical prowess. Fully destructible environments set in Africa and Italy launch you into uncertain battlegrounds, though you can always rely on Intel Arc graphics with Day-0 support for Company of Heroes 3, out now on Steam.

Last week’s Game On driver made your Intel Arc GPU battle-ready; now we’re locked and loaded with performance data too. Strategize quickly, for the Intel Arc A750 won’t slow your army down: Company of Heroes 3 runs at 86 FPS at 1440p High settings or 116 FPS at 1080p Ultra — over 59% more performance per dollar than the Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB.

Como un Dragón: ¡Ishin!

Corruption has marred the Edo period of Japan. To clear their name, players are handed the sword of real-life samurai Sakamoto Ryōma. This historical fiction curves his katana in a direction set by the original release of Ishin! in 2014, now remastered for PC and released outside of Japan for the first time. The gripping story of Ryōma’s mentor’s assassination must be resolved with relentless beat-em-up bloodshed and the support of a brotherhood of fellow swordsmen.

Set more than a century before the mainline Like a Dragon (formerly Yakuza) series, 1860s Kyoto comes to life with populated streets, moonlit alleyways, and a satisfying blend of gunslinging and swordplay. For even faster flourishes of Ryōma’s samurai sword, Like a Dragon: Ishin! unsheathed Intel XeSS on launch day, delivering 31% more FPS at 1440p Extra High settings. Out now, Like a Dragon: Ishin! is available on Steam. Check out a deeper cut into Ishin! on Intel Gaming Access too.

Improvements to Halo Infinite*

Beyond our commitment to you to support the newest titles, the Intel Arc graphics team are updating performance for released games as well. This week’s driver updates to Halo Infinite will have the Covenant running scared — react quicker to enemy threats with the A750 now hitting 120 FPS at 1080p Ultra or 91 FPS at 1440p. You just got augmented to become 40% faster, Spartan.

On top of unlocking more performance, this driver also fixes:

  • Halo Infinite (DX12) may exhibit color corruption during gameplay when Reflections settings are enabled.
  • Red Dead Redemption 2* (Vulkan) may experience application crash in benchmark mode when Screen Type is Fullscreen.

Relentless Improvements, Unbeatable Value

What a month! This latest driver makes the fourth driver update released in February, with nine new games receiving Day 0 driver support on Intel Arc graphics. These updates maximize performance on your Intel Arc GPU as you arm yourself with wits and weapons against wickedness in the Han Dynasty, battle through bumps and brambles in WWII, or carry out kataki-uchi in Kyoto.

No matter how you slice it, the Intel Arc A750 can’t be beat in performance-to-price. The A750 trades punches with the Nvidia RTX 3060* in the games we covered today at a much lower cost: $249.
