We’ve already covered how the prices of the new Intel Arc A750 and A770 GPUs are bringing balance back to the graphics card market. These cards provide a fantastic performance per dollar ratio for gamers looking to play modern games at 1080p and 1440p resolutions while offering a full suite of modern GPU features like AI-enhanced supersampling (XeSS) and dedicated, high performance ray tracing acceleration units.
Today we’re looking at two example PC builds based on Intel Arc GPUs and Intel 13th Gen Core CPUs that provide great gaming value and performance. With the holiday season upon us, it’s not just hardware on the wish list; Intel Arc GPUs buyers can also pickup games and software* until February 28, 2023 by signing up for the Intel Gaming Access Program.
First, let’s discuss the new Intel 13th Gen Core CPU lineup. Combining Performance-cores and Efficient-cores, these processors are built for modern gaming and content creation. We’ll be focusing on the Core i5-13600K and the Core i7-13700K, two high-performance CPUs with 14/16 cores and clock speeds over 5.1 GHz, capable of handling any game.

For around $1220 as of December 1st, we assembled a PC that provides a great gaming experience at 1080p utilizing the Intel Arc A750.
The Core i5-13600K is a great option when it comes to gaming. Featuring 6 Performance-cores and 8 Efficient-cores for a total of 14 cores and 20 processing threads, the Core i5-13600K can reach frequencies of up to 5.1 GHz using Intel Turbo Boost technology.
The flexible memory architecture of 13th Gen Core CPUs supports both DDR4 and DDR5. We chose 16 gigabytes of DDR4 which still gives plenty of gaming performance while being easier on the wallet.
The rest of the components are where the most personalization can happen, for example we’ve chosen a 1 TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD. Picking different components such as the case, storage, or more RAM allow you to tailor this system to your needs – be it more storage, power, or a different design aesthetic.
With the Intel Arc A750 graphics card, gamers can expect a great gaming experience at 1080p on modern games, including titles with ray tracing enabled, like Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition.
For gamers seeking even more performance, we put together this option for around $1760 as of December 1st, 2022.

Stepping up to the Core i7-13700K with 8 Performance-cores and 8 Efficient-cores at clock speeds up to 5.4 GHz, gamers can expect a great gameplay and multitasking experience.
Like we mentioned earlier, the Intel 13th Generation Core architecture allows for the flexibility to choose DDR4 or DDR5 memory. This time we’ve chosen the newer DDR5 standard for increased system memory bandwidth.
In addition to a CPU upgrade this system moves to the highest-end Intel Arc GPU, the A770. Specifically, we are using the Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition with 16GB of graphics memory and RGB lighting.
The Core i7-13700K combined with the Intel Arc A770 Graphics card allows us to achieve average frame rates above 60 FPS at 1440p with high image quality settings on popular games like Forza Horizon 5, Hitman 3, and Far Cry 6.
No matter which Intel Arc graphics card you choose, you can take advantage of the features of the Xe HPG architecture including Intel XeSS (Xe Super Sampling), ray tracing acceleration, and AVI video encoding capability.
Whether you’re building one of the new discussed here, adding Intel Arc graphics to your existing setup, or just following us on our gaming journey, let us know over at the Intel Insiders Community Discord. From the Intel Arc family to you and yours, happy gaming this holiday season. Now, let’s play!
