<p><em>Genshin Impact</em>, by developer MiHoYo, made quite the &quot;impact&quot; when it released in September 2020. Within only two weeks, the game had claimed the title of the most popular Chinese release in the West, and it isn&#39;t difficult to see why. The game&#39;s word Teyvat is a massive open-world that players can easily get lose in. Wandering around for even a small amount of time could reveal any number of loot crates, enemy battles, or NPCs in need of assistance. There are seven different nations to discover, all of which are themed after different elements. <em>Genshin Impact</em> will have players busy for hours traversing and enjoying the expansive, eye-catching environment.</p>

Bandai Namco Entertainment has created such an experience with their game <em>Bless Unleashed</em>. <em>Bless Unleashed</em> is set in the kingdom of Lumious following a massive war between the gods. Players will pick their starting race/class, and then go exploring. The MMORPG is set to release on PC early this year.</p>

<p><em>Raji: An Ancient Epic</em> will have players exploring a world that all too often goes unhighlighted within the game industry. Nodding Head Games, the developers who brought the experience to vivid life, based the world and narrative on Hindu and Balinese culture. That influence is on clear display in everything from the art to the music. The story is told in both through cutscenes with shadow puppets, or murals players find throughout the world. You will take on the role of Raji as she seeks to rescue her brother who has been kidnapped by demons in a setting overflowing with beauty.</p>

This point-and-click adventure game is chock full of rich Nordic folklore, unique graphics, and memorable characters. Don&#39;t let the cute character design fool you, <em>Röki</em> explores themes such as the complexities of familial love, and loss. All this is set within a world teeming with monsters and snowy forests just begging to be explored.</p>

<p>Primdal, a world full of magic and people who wield it, is the spellbinding setting for the next game on our list. <em>Spellbreak</em>, by developer Proletariat Games, is a multiplayer action-spellcasting game with a fantastic world to experience. Once players have created the ultimate battlemage, they will be thrown headfirst into the fractured battleground of the Hollow Lands. <em>Spellbreak</em> has a unique chapter system, which moves the story along, assigns quests, and informs players on the world of Primdal. For now, only one chapter is available, but players can look forward to further content and worldbuilding as more chapters are released. <em>Spellbreak</em> is free to play.</p>

<p>The final game on our list will transport you to Overworld, a supernatural land filled with unforgiving gods who would like nothing more than to see your demise. <em>Gods Will Fall</em>, by developer Clever Beans, is a Celtic-inspired single-player RPG that is as merciless as it is compelling. Players will gather a band of eight warriors and set off across a carefully crafted world to break the god&#39;s stranglehold on the characters in the game. It is not all battles and blood, however. The Overworld is lush and provides hours of calming exploration for when you are not fighting. <em>Gods Will Fall</em> is officially released on January 29th.</p>
