DX12 and Vulkan are\u00a0modern\u00a0\u201clow-level APIs,\u201d with\u00a0closer communication between the game and the GPU.\u00a0DX11, DX9, and other legacy APIs\u00a0require less\u00a0developer\u00a0resource management\u00a0which\u00a0means we\u2019ve got more work to do in drivers.\u00a0We still have work to do to improve performance across the broad set of PC titles, but Ryan and TAP will have more to share about performance in the next week or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Intel Arc software team is hard at work\u00a0refining our\u00a0drivers\u00a0ahead of\u00a0and well beyond\u00a0our\u00a0global launch.\u00a0With Game On\u00a0Drivers auto-installed by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.intel.com\/content\/www\/us\/en\/products\/docs\/arc-discrete-graphics\/software\/arc-control.html?__hstc=23235429.46d9f71b359d24ee9d20e785191575c7.1704483629248.1704483629248.1704491761888.2&amp;__hssc=23235429.6.1704491761888&amp;__hsfp=2161264190\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Arc Control<\/a>,\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0always\u00a0have the latest\u00a0updates\u00a0for\u00a0modern DX12 games\u00a0and\u00a0your favorite DX9 throwbacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Got more questions\u00a0about Arc?
