Battlemage Enters the Game: Intel® Arc™ B580 Out Now

Today, Intel® Arc™ B-Series graphics cards, known as codename “Battlemage”, have finally been announced! Speculation and leaks are one thing, but with today’s launch of flagship Intel® Arc™ B580 graphics and its little brother Intel® Arc™ B570 graphics, the cat — or the chip — is finally out of the bag. The goal of the Intel Arc B-Series is to deliver performance and affordability, giving gamers and DIYers more choice on how they keep their gaming experience and visuals modern. Upgraded Xe Core Performance 

The second generation Xe2 microarchitecture at the heart of the chip provides up to 70% better per-xe-core performance and up to 50% more performance per watt, delivering more immersive gaming experiences and higher efficiency.  

AI-fuelled Gaming Facelift 

Intel® Xe Super Sampling technology (XeSS) has been a beloved feature for gamers for some time, enabling much higher performance with high-quality visuals. Second generation Intel XeSS technology comes with even more performance enhancers and is designed forIntel® Arc™ B-Series graphics, ensuring its built-in AI hardware can effortlessly deliver that pin-sharp image upscaling and much higher framerates 

Down With Latency

Intel® Xe Low Latency technology is a new feature for Intel® Arc™ B-Series graphics. Its smart algorithms figure out the optimal path from your inputs to the monitor output, effectively eliminating any noticeable lag between what you do with your hands and what happens on-screen. 

The Truth About Ray  

We’ve all heard the chatter about ray tracing, and believe us, it’s worth it. The technology is hardwired into Intel® Arc™ B-series graphics, delivering exceptional real-time lighting, shadows, and reflections for an impressively immersive gaming experience.
