Intel® Arc™ Game On Driver for Tekken 8, Atelier Resleriana, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Palworld, and more massive improvements!

by Zachary Hill |

Intel® Game On Drivers deliver the best experience for gamers playing on Intel Graphics with optimized launch-day patches and performance updates as new games release.

The first of 2024’s big weeks for game releases is here and Intel Arc graphics stand ready. Today’s driver includes support for Tekken 8, Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Palworld.

If that list wasn’t long enough, we’ve reworked our drivers for 23 (yes, nearly two dozen!) DirectX 11 games, with a handful of games more than DOUBLING in average frames per second. That’s the latest leap in a constant stream of updates as Intel Arc graphics advance performance in your favorite games from yesteryear.

Tekken 8

The longest-running videogame storyline, the tragic tale of the Mishima family, continues with Tekken 8. War is waged on the world and decided by hand-to-hand combat as Kazuya Mishima seeks global domination, but the action doesn’t stop with the main story. 16 stages host 32 characters, with each fighter’s individual stories explored in separate episodes.

Even in a world of next-gen graphics and heavy-handed combat, Arcade Quest gives players new and old opportunities to freshen up their skills away from the dramatic story. Series veterans have new mechanics to master with the “Heat System,” designed to channel the aggressive nature of Tekken combat into tactical offensive abilities. No matter your skill level, you’ll look your best with extensive customizations available for playable characters, your chibi Arcade Quest avatar, even game HUD and music can be tailored to your liking.

As the fight Heats up, Intel Arc graphics keep cool. The Intel Arc A750 keeps fists flying fast at the game’s cap of 60 frames per second at 1440p Ultra, or get the same performance at 4K Ultra with XeSS turned on. Get ready to fight in Tekken 8, available tomorrow on Steam.

Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator

One of the coziest games of 2024 is here. Alchemy has laid dormant for more than a century in the land of Lantarna, Resna Sternenlicht is devoted to reviving the ancient craft. Atelier Resleriana is her journey, filled with friends, foes, and the mysterious Polar Night Alchemists.

The captivating story by anime and manga author Takahiro takes Resna and her crew through a vast and varied continent, lush with placid rivers, glistening cities, and verdant forests. Even these pleasant landscapes are filled with monsters, but with the right approach you’ll emerge victorious. Harnessing the Atelier series’ signature synthesis system is the best way to strengthen your party before combat.

Enter the captivating world of Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator tomorrow, free on Steam.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Palworld

Legendary storytelling from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is back with Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Ichiban Kasuga returns from Yakuza: Like a Dragon to team up with Kazuma Kiryu from the earliest Yakuza game. Even with characters and features returning from earlier Like a Dragon games, Infinite Wealth takes the series to a whole new location and the first outside of Japan: Hawaii. As you jet-set across the Pacfic, the Intel Arc A750 will keep up at 59 FPS at 1440p Ultra, or activate XeSS in Performance mode to get 74 FPS at 4K Ultra settings. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth launches tomorrow on Steam.

Sometimes it’s good to be bad. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League does what it says on the tin: you’ll be reducing superheroes to superzeroes. The four baddies of the Suicide Squad each have their own ways of navigating the sprawling and battle-torn Metropolis, which the devs will expand post-launch to include even more villains, weapons, and events with free updates. Our driver updates make the Intel Arc A750 ready to run Suicide Squad: KtJL at 59 FPS at 1080p High. Drop in to take out the Justice League on February 2nd.

Enshrouded blends survival, crafting, and magic in a next-gen adventure. As the last Flameborn, reclaim the lost beauty of your kingdom. As you build, NPCs will join you and support your efforts in fending off an all-consuming fog and the terrors which lie within. Enshrouded is out today on Steam.

Intel Arc graphics are ready for the overnight sensation of Palworld. Capture Pals in the idyllic world and explore alongside them as companions, put them to work in factories, or even eat the cuddly monsters. Blending survival mechanics, third-person shooter gameplay, and monster taming, Palworld is in Early Access now on Steam and Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Massive uplifts to DirectX 11 games

In our unending journey to improve Intel Arc graphics, today’s driver has even more updates for released games – some from as far back as 2013! Several games previously getting low 50s FPS numbers on the Intel Arc A750 are now bumped up to just shy of 60 FPS, such as Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Sons of the Forest, and Watch Dogs: Legion. Improvements to games we’ve worked on already (like Stellaris) go even further now, and titles in need of TLC are getting the love they need. Just Cause 3, previously running at 58 FPS accelerates to 151 FPS, and its successor Just Cause 4 goes from a sluggish 31 FPS average up 268% to a now-respectable 115 FPS.
